Drug treatment and testing orders - A to Z
What is a Drug Treatment and Testing Order?
A Drug Treatment and Testing Order (DTTO) is an alternative to a prison sentence for people whose offending is related to the use of drugs. Progress is reported to the Court every month at review meetings with the Sheriff.
If an offender does not keep to the conditions of the Order they are reported to Court, and the Sheriff decides if the Order can continue or if another sentenced should be imposed.More information..
