Employment of children and young people - A to Z
Children between the age of 13 years and school leaving age may be employed only in accordance with the Bye Laws.
Children younger than 13 may only be employed in television or theatrical productions or as models: if children cannot be accompanied by a parent or teacher, a chaperone will need to be appointed.
Licences must be obtained and certificates will be granted only where the authority is satisfied that the proposed employment is not likely to be prejudicial to a child's health or education.
