Service Outline
We all have a duty to protect children and vulnerable adults, whether we are professionals or private individuals. If you think a child or a vulnerable adult is being abused or neglected, speak to a member of school staff, a social worker, the police or a health professional.
A court may grant a child protection order which means that a child can be removed from home if they are in danger.
Please go to our Emergency Social Work page if our offices are closed and you need help urgently.
