Planning - Property Enquiry Certificates - A to Z
Service Outline
Property Enquiry Certificates advise if property or land is affected by statutory matters that are the responsibility of the local authority or Scottish Water, or have any enforcement notices or outstanding Building Warrant matters.
Letters of Comfort are used to resolve matters relating to work carried out without a Building Warrant (or in contravention of an expired Building Warrant) where the work was carried out prior to 30 April 2005.
Both are normally requested by solicitors acting on behalf of property purchasers.
