School Nurses
Each school has a named school nurse. Although they are employed by Health, they work in schools. They can help parents and children with a range of issues, including:
- helping you with any health concerns in confidence
- giving you information or advice about health issues
- helping you to keep up to date with jags for TB, diphtheria and tetanus.
You can contact the school nurse by phoning 0131 536 8192 or speaking to a guidance teacher or the school secretary and asking them to contact the school nurse for you.
