16. Referral procedure

Will deal with inquiries from or about young people between the ages of 13-26. Confidentiality and Permissions policies may apply when dealing with referral from another agency. Telephone contact to assess suitability of a referral is recommended in the first instance. Referral by email is also possible.

17. Requirements

As well as usual details of name, address, availability and issues LGBT Youth needs to know about wider issues relating to the clients problems so far as the referring agency is aware of them, but bearing in mind confidentiality policy.
