4. Aims

To provide better information about Housing Options, as part of the strategy to reduce homeless presentations. To give detailed information about available accommodation in any housing sector available locally, to anyone who requests it.

5. Activities

Centred on the East area offices of Haddington, Dunbar and North Berwick, Homeseeker aims to provide Personal Housing Plan type interviews to anyone approaching the Council with a housing options query. All customers asking for a Council Housing application form are automatically offered an interview

All bookings for the surgery are made through Haddington CHPM reception on 01620 826600.

There are no restrictions on who can apply. We ask that the customer fills out a Homeseeker form before their interview, to allow more time during the interview to discuss their circumstances
