Dialogue Youth Project
Gatehouse

Aimed at engaging the young people of East Lothian.  A major output from the project is the resource and research base in Musselburgh, which is being used by young people to develop their IT skills and to access relevant information.

The base is also an ideal venue for young people to become involved in national surveys and consultancies. Links with youth forums and pupil councils ensure that young people are fully involved in the youth services in their community. The base is also used by a number of agencies involved with young people.

Young Scot/Proof of Age cards have been issued at all ELC secondary schools. Young Scot membership provides a host of information for young people and also provides discounts at many retailers. The proof of age feature also helps with age related entitlements and assists retailers when selling age restricted goods.
