There is much to see and do in East Lothian.

A golfer’s paradise with 19 courses, East Lothian draws in golfers from all around the globe with a mixture of challenging links courses and beautiful parkland greens.

East Lothian however has much more to offer the visitor with an enviable coastline and rolling countryside, lots of tourist attractions all within easy reach of Edinburgh it makes it the perfect get away location.

East Lothian has plenty to offer those visiting whether it is a day trip or a weeklong holiday, for families and the independent traveller. From castles to whisky, Concorde to horse racing there is plenty to keep you busy. 10 of East Lothians major attractions have come together and have created a website portal to their attractions. Water Sports Activities in East Lothian

East Lothian is a great place to spend time on the water, with several water sports on offer from sailing, surfing, kayaking, diving, power boating and kite surfing.

A new Water Sports Guide for South East Scotland has been produced which covers the coastline from Edinburgh to Eyemouth taking in the entire East Lothian coast.

The 64-page pocket guide provides useful information on where you can do a sport if you’re a beginner and where is best to have a go if you have the equipment.

Edinburgh Film Focus

Edinburgh Film Focus is the local Film Commission for Edinburgh, the Lothians and the Scottish Borders.
