Tell us what you think
Tell us what you think

Now that you’ve read our proposals and viewed the maps, get in touch to tell us what you think.

The comments form is available to download from the menu on the right hand side. This form can be photocopied if required so that others can comment. Please submit one form per person. The deadline for comments is 20 June 2008.
Please include your name and address on the form so that your comments will count. This is to avoid multiple anonymous representations for a particular path to ensure the consultation is fair. If you wish receipt of your comments to be acknowledged, please tick the box on the comments form.

Notes on completing the comments form:

o
If you have any comments (which are not formal objections) on the Plan or particular paths or routes, please write them in the comments table. Individual Core Paths can be identified using the unique number shown on the maps.
o
Please submit your comments before 20 June 2008.
o
If you wish to make a formal objection to the Plan, please tick the appropriate box.
o
The objection must contain the name and address of the objector.
o
The objection should state the precise matters to which the objection relates, by reference to the Core Path number or to the grid references of the relevant proposals.
o
The objection should state the grounds on which the objection is made. It is important that the full grounds of the objection are presented at this stage.
o
The objection should state the details of the change to the Core Paths Plan that is sought.
o
Objections must be received before 20 June 2008.
o
All details of the objection, including the name and address of the objector will be made public.
o
If the objection cannot be resolved by East Lothian Council and it is not withdrawn in writing then it will result in a Local Inquiry.
Please return the comments form to: Core Paths Planning, c/o Outdoor Access Officer, Landscape & Countryside Division, East Lothian Council, John Muir House, Haddington EH41 3HA.
