North Berwick Law
North Berwick Law

This walk starts in the car park at the base the Law, but for a longer walk it is possible to start in High Street and continue up Law Road and Haddington Road to the car park. This will add around two thirds of a mile (1 km) to the walk each way. From the car park follow the grass path that winds its way up the Law. The total distance is about three quarters of a mile (1.2 km), but it is a very steep assent so does require a level of fitness.

The effort is well worth it for the magnificent views that can be seen at the top across East Lothian and the Firth of Forth. The descent should be made along the same path, as there are some steep drops and cliffs away from the tack.
