The Housing Land Audit is a document which estimates future house building over a 5 year period. It is produced annually with information available at the 31st March each year. The last Housing Land Audit to be published was 'Housing Land Audit 2006'.
The Housing Land Audit 2006 is the assessment of the housing land supply in the area covered by the Lothian Structure Plan, at 31st March 2006. It gives an estimate of future completions from this supply over the audit period 2006-2011. The information within the audit has been supplied by the four unitary authorities within the Structure Plan area and compiled by East Lothian Council, under the joint working arrangements for the maintenance of the Structure Plan. The assistance of Homes for Scotland, private housebuilders, Housing Associations, Communities Scotland and other housing organisations in the preparation of the Audit is gratefully acknowledged.
