Find out about Community Care Services

To be able to get a community care service, you must be aged 16 or over, and you must have an assessment.  People who are in most need or at most risk will be given priority.  People may be charged for some services, depending on the outcome of their financial assessment.  Once you have been assessed as needing a community care service, you can choose to buy your own services through the Direct Payments scheme or we can purchase them on your behalf.  FOR MORE INFORMATION ABOUT ADULT PROTECTION, PLEASE CLICK HERE Please see the information below.  If you need more information, please e-mail communitycare@eastlothian.gov.uk
