East Lothian Council’s Transportation Division is responsible for the management and maintenance of 912km of public road network, 321 bridges and culverts, and some 16000 street lighting columns.

The Division also provides winter maintenance cover, transport services, road safety improvements, road development control and design services.

We aim to provide the people of East Lothian, and it's visitors, with a high quality and value for money service in the maintenance and development of the Road network.
