The East Lothian Social Economy Partnership (ELSEP) is a local partnership that supports the development of Social Enterprises in East Lothian.  Currently represented on the Partnership is:

• East Lothian Council
• Social Enterprise in East Lothian (a network of local social enterprises)
• ELVON
• Midlothian and East Lothian Chamber of Commerce
• East Lothian Childcare Partnership
• East Lothian Community Health Partnership

Shortly after the setting up of the Partnership a report mapping the sector in East Lothian, funded through the European EQUAL programme, was completed which provided the basis of our Action Plan for 2006 to 2011. These 2 documents will help us develop suitable approaches on how best to support the sector in the future. Copies of the Action Plan and full report are available to download on the links to the right of this page. We will keep you posted on further developments through the News page, and through Signpost to Funding.  There are a number of support services currently available that offer a wide range of support; financial, business development, strategic etc. You will find links to many of these on the right of this page.
