One of our greatest resources is our collection of photographs and postcards. We have thousands of images covering every burgh and village in East Lothian. The first photographs were taken over 150 years ago and along with picture postcards which were first published in great numbers at the turn of the century, provide an impressive visual document of life from Victorian times onwards.

Although it is indexed most people enjoy having a flick through this impressive visual record.
