Aged 16-21?

If you are aged 16-21, extra help is available from specialist teams working in East Lothian.

Within our Homelessness service there are specialist Response officers who can provide emergency assistance. In addition, advice is offered to young people whose situation is difficult but not yet critical. For those leaving care, a specialist unit of the Council, called the Throughcare and Aftercare team, should be able to assist.

Another important source of advice and information for young people is the Bridges Project which has its main office in Musselburgh. Further links and documents are available below.

LGBT Youth can advise on housing issues related to Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual or Transgender sexuality.
