The East Lothian Housing Forum facilitates consultation and discussion on local housing issues. It meets approximately 3 times a year, usually on a Wednesday afternoon.  It is organised by East Lothian Council.  All Local Housing Strategy (LHS) stakeholders are invited including voluntary organisations, East Lothian Tenants and Residents Panel, elected members, Homes for Scotland, housing associations, council officers, Scottish Rural Property and Business Association, Lothian NHS, Communities Scotland and Lothian local authorities. 

Recent Forum topics have included East Lothian Council's Allocations Policy, Housing (Scotland) Act 2006, annual LHS reviews, Fuel Poverty Strategy and Lothian Housing Needs Assessment.  A report on the Housing Forum is given in the Housing Strategies Bulletin which follows the Forum.
