Core Path Plan
East Lothian Core Path Plan Section 8 (1) of the Environmental Assessment (Scotland) Act 2005 Screening Determination.
East Lothian council is preparing a Core Path Plan, In consultation with the Scottish Environment Protection Agency, Scottish Natural Heritage and Historic Scotland the Council has determined that East Lothian Core Path Plan is likely to have significant environmental effects and that it requires a strategic environmental assessment.
East Lothian Council will prepare an environmental report alongside the Core Path Plan to identify, describe and evaluate the likely significant effects on the environment of implementing the plan and its reasonable alternatives.
By virtue of Section 10(2) of the Environmental Assessment (Scotland) Act 2005, a copy of the determination is hereby publicised. A copy of the determination and any related statement of reasons are available at John Muir House, Haddington EH41 3HA for inspection by the public from Monday to Thursday between 9am and 5pm and between 9am and 4pm on Friday.
