The Muirfield Group of Riding for the Disabled have been lucky to arrange for the chart topping Temperance Seven band to play for a fundraising concert at Haddington Corn Exchange on Saturday, 3 May.
The band reached number 1 in the charts in 1961 with “You're driving me crazy” and followed up with “Pasadena” at number 4. Last year they were a sell-out success at the Edinburgh International Jazz Festival.
Group Chairman, Susan Law, said “this will be a great boost to our fundraising efforts. Since HRH Princess Anne opened our new arena in 2002, demand has grown and we need to expand the facilities. We have over 150 disabled riders who enjoy riding therapy free of charge. We receive no public funding so everything is raised by volunteers and events like this.” For more details about the Group, please look at www.muirfieldrda.org.uk
Tickets at £15.00 are available from Anderson's East Linton and North Berwick & Ramsay's Butchers and Kesley's Bookshop Haddington. For table bookings 'phone 01620 842549.
