We're looking for nominations now, for our new employee awards scheme - the STAR Awards.
When we get it wrong, we want you to tell us. That way, we can improve the quality of the services we provide. When we get it right, we also want you to tell us. And when our employees go that extra mile to provide exceptional service - well, we think they deserve an award.
If any of our employees are 'Stars' in your eyes, why not nominate them for East Lothian Council's Star Awards, 2008? Anyone can make a nomination - customers, colleagues, councillors, managers, local groups or businesses. And Nominations can be for individuals or teams, provided that they are current employees of East Lothian Council.
Finalists will be invited to a special presentation ceremony in Musselburgh in November 2008, where the winning teams and individuals will receive special 'STAR' trophies and certificates.
Nominations can be made by downloading the form here, or by emailing corpcomms@eastlothian.gov.uk There are six awards categories, but if you are not sure which one applies to your nomination, don't worry - we'll put it into the correct category for you.
The categories are:
- Customer Excellence,
- Community and Partnership Working,
- Innovation,
- Environment and Sustainability,
- Celebrating Youth and
- Culture and Sport
