Curriculum for Excellence - education for change
The Curriculum for Excellence (CfE) is a new way of looking at the curriculum that builds on best existing practices in Scottish education. It is a continuing process to encourage more learning through experiences to best ensure that children and young people are prepared for the complex world they will be living in.
CfE aims to focus class practice upon the learning experiences of the child and around the FOUR CAPACITIES.

It will be crucial that we begin to engage in some of the practical challenges facing us in terms of implementing some of the changes necessary. There is a need for us to consider some of the core features of where we want to go in East Lothian.
