Saltire Festival: 30 November – 3 December 2017

Directed by Jason Connery (The Philly Kid), Tommy's Honour is based on the powerfully moving true story of the fractious relationship between “Old” Tom (Peter Mullan) and “Young” Tommy Morris (Jack Lowden), the Scottish father-son team who ushered in the modern game of golf. At first matching his father’s success, Tommy’s talent and fame grew quickly to outshine his father’s, but his personal choices would ultimately drive a wedge between them (no pun intended). With a supporting cast featuring Ophelia Lovibond, Sam Neill and Peter Ferdinando, Connery's film is an impressively presented historical drama of real resonance.

UK/USA 2016 / 1h52m / PG – Contains mild bad language, sex references, distressing scenes.
