Refuse collection Waste services provide every household in East Lothian with a weekly refuse collection using green wheeled bins

Garden Waste Collection Around 90% of households are covered by the fortnightly brown bin collection for garden waste, information on this can be found here.

Recycling collection We collect paper and cardboard in a blue box and glass cans and plastics in a green box from every household once a fortnight. Some rural properties have been provided with wheeled bins instead of boxes. Find out more about the recycling collection here
