Parking Fines

Parking fines in East Lothian are issued by police officers and police traffic wardens, not by the Council.

A parking ticket or other penalty may be issued against a stationary vehicle.  This type of penalty is most often issued for parking offences but may also be issued for other offences - such as failure to display a valid vehicle excise disc.

If you have been issued with a penalty you can pay this online on the Scottish Courts website.  This site also provided further information on penalties, and the appeals process.
