Residents parking schemes
East Lothian Council administers residents parking schemes in Musselburgh, Haddington and North Berwick.
Residents parking permits are issued free of charge and allow local people to park their car, van or motorcycle near their home without penalty. Residents must always display a valid residential parking permit.
Limited waiting has been introduced to control on street parking near to Queen Margaret University campus.
The roads (all in Musselburgh) affected by the scheme are:
- Clayknowes Road
- Clayknowes Court
- Denholm Avenue
- Denholm Drive
- Mucklets Avenue
- Whitehill Avenue
- Whitehill Farm Road
- Whitehill Gardens
Haddington and North Berwick
Qualifying residents are entitled to park on street within the restricted parking areas without penalty.
Qualifying North Berwick residents are restricted to parking on the north side of Forth Street only.
