Health and Social Care Area Partnership Forums

East Lothian Health and Social Care Partnership wants to engage with communities on major health and social care developments that affect your immediate area. We already have one Forum working at Belhaven and we are now setting up two others - one for the the North Berwick area and one for the Musselburgh area.

Schedule of meetings

  • Next meeting of Musselburgh Area Health and Social Care Forum is on 6 December 2017 from 18:30-20:00 at the Esk Rooms, Brunton Hall, Musselburgh EH21 6AA
  • Next meeting of North Berwick Area Health and Social Care Forum is on 14 December 2017 from 18:30-20:00 at the Hope Rooms, 34 Forth Street, North Berwick, EH39 4JD
  • Next meeting of Belhaven Forum - early new year 2018 (most recent meeting 28 November 2017).

We would like you to contribute to the vision for the re-provisioning of local health and social care services. This includes:

  • Current issues with the physical environments of older council care homes and older hospitals
  • Best practice and innovation in how to meet the needs of older people
  • Best practice and innovation in health and social care integration and joint working
  • A joint strategy to meet health and social care needs
  • Financial matters.

We want to make sure that each of our forums is broadly representative and equitable. We would like the forums to discuss and agree action plans with ELHSCP. The plans will contribute to ELHSCP decision making, and service provision and development. The forums will provide feedback on the community’s needs, concerns and interests, and challenge ELHSCP constructively whenever necessary. They will give the community a voice in the organisation and delivery of their local health and social care.

Contact us at elhscp@eastlothian.gov.uk if you would like more information.
