East & Midlothian Child Protection Committee
The East and Midlothian Child Protection Committee (EMCPC) is the key group dealing with child protection work in East Lothian and Midlothian.
It includes representatives from both areas who have a key role in delivering services for children and young people, including:
- East Lothian Council
- Midlothian Council
- Police Scotland
- NHS Lothian
- Scottish Children's Reporter Administration
- the voluntary sector
