A Candidate’s Guide to Becoming a Councillor has been produced by the Improvement Service and COSLA for anyone interested in standing for election to become a councillor. The guide covers all aspects of the role, providing comprehensive guidance and practical advice on council/councillor duties, responsibilities and expectations.

The Notice of Election was published on 13 March and nominations have been accepted by the Returning Officer.
