The Recycling Centre charges depend upon the amount of waste you deposit. A waste transfer note must be completed at the time and you may be asked to provide proof of address.

Certain types of businesses will need to register as a waste carrier to transport their waste; you can find more details on the SEPA website.

Even if you do not need a Waste Carriers Licence you must be on SEPA's Register of Professional Collectors and Transporters of Waste to transport waste from your business to one of our sites. There is no charge for this type of registration. Please contact SEPA to register.

The Dunbar and Kinwegar Recycling Centres accept waste from businesses through a separate entrance, which is equipped with a weighbridge so businesses waste can be accurately weighed and charged for.

Vans and trailers may only access the Recycling Centres between 08:30 - 10:30 Monday to Saturday.

Commercial waste customers can also bring waste to the Council's Waste Transfer Station. Access to the Transfer Station is: Monday to Friday: 09:00 - 10:00 and 14:00 - 16:00.
