Council housing in East Lothian
Managing your tenancy
Skip to pages in this document
East Lothian Council strives to build a long-lasting relationship with its tenants based on mutual respect.
There can be a lot to learn about how to run your tenancy in a successful and sustainable way, particularly for young and first-time tenants. Your housing officer will help you to deal with any problems and answer your questions in the first instance. We may also be able to offer you further help: in certain circumstances we can offer tenancy support.
All our tenants are issued with a handbook providing advice about most aspects of renting from the Council, which you can download by following this link
