Family Fun on Sundays!

Make more of your Sundays at the John Gray Centre ...
Families visiting Haddington on Sunday afternoons can now take part in an exciting range of workshops in the John Gray Centre, upstairs in the museum. Each Sunday afternoon between 1.30-3.30pm, families can drop in to take part in an activity, inspired by the museum and the stories within it.
For the next two Sundays (7th and 14th April), families can find out about the Jacobites, by searching for hidden clues in the museum, and by making a huge Jacobite collage.
Following this, to tie in with the current contemporary art exhibition, families will be encouraged to create a museum sketch book, or make their own figures from recycled materials. Activities are led by museum staff and take place in the museum reception area. Activities are designed to be accessible to all and for a wide range of ages.
For each activity, there is a suggested donation of £2 per family, to assist with resources for future workshops.
