Have your say on Haddington town centre

Haddington

Over the coming months detailed design proposals for Haddington town centre are being developed.

The project, involving the council, Haddington Community Development Trust and SUSTRANS, seeks to build on the aspirations set out by the community in the Vision for Haddington Town Centre report 2012.

Open Events

The design team welcomes local input to the design to ensure the proposals address local needs and secure success for the future. Three drop-in events will be held to give opportunity for all those with an interest to be involved in the process.

The second design event takes place on Thursday 14th September from 3pm to 7.30 pm in Haddington Town House Main Hall and will explore a strategy for the town centre and start to develop ideas and proposals - what will work the best.

The next event will take place on Tuesday 31st October at the same time and venue, to make sure everyone is agreed on the approach being taken for improving public spaces as well as reviewing final options and considering preferences for features of public spaces such as seating and materials.

We hope as many people as possible can make it along to these drop-in events.
