Interim ASBO served on Haddington resident

An interim Antisocial Behaviour Order (ASBO) has been granted against Amanda Winter (44) of Carlyle Gardens, Haddington following an application to Edinburgh Sheriff Court by East Lothian Council.

The court was presented with details of the alleged antisocial behaviour of Ms Winter which included shouting and swearing, and using threatening, aggressive and abusive language that caused discomfort and distress to others.

The terms of the ASBO prohibits Ms Winter from behaving in a way that causes or is likely to cause alarm or distress to others and includes shouting, swearing and disturbing neighbours in Carlyle Gardens, Haddington.

A council spokesperson said:

“Ms Winter’s antisocial behaviour has caused considerable distress to neighbours and others within her local community and the interim ASBO legal action has resulted from a number of complaints raised against her.”
