Interim ASBO served

An interim Antisocial Behaviour Order (ASBO) has been granted against Sharon Fairgrieve (40) of Cairds Row, Musselburgh following an application to Edinburgh Sheriff court by East Lothian Council.

The court was presented with details of the alleged antisocial behaviour of Ms Fairgrieve which included shouting and swearing, fighting and slamming doors and causing incidences of noise disturbance at levels that caused discomfort and distress to others.

The terms of the ASBO prohibits Ms Fairgrieve from behaving in a way that causes or is likely to cause alarm or distress to others and includes shouting, swearing and disturbing neighbours in Cairds Row and New Street, Musselburgh and also Princess Mary Road, Haddington.

A council spokesperson said:

“Ms Fairgrieve has a history of acting in an antisocial manner in East Lothian and particularly at specific addresses in both Musselburgh and Haddington. The interim ASBO has resulted from numerous complaints about Ms Fairgrieve’s behaviour which have alarmed and disturbed others within local communities.”
