Dunbar woman served with Interim ASBO following complaints

An interim Antisocial Behaviour Order (ASBO) has been granted against Lisa Watters (44) of Lammermuir Crescent, Dunbar following an application to Edinburgh Sheriff Court by East Lothian Council.

The court was presented with details of the alleged antisocial behaviour of Ms Watters which included shouting and swearing, banging doors in the early hours and allowing visitors to her property to behave in a similar manner which caused discomfort and distress to others.

The terms of the ASBO prohibits Ms Watters from behaving in a way that causes or is likely to cause alarm or distress to others and includes shouting, swearing and disturbing neighbours in Lammermuir Crescent, Dunbar.

A council spokesperson said:

“The interim ASBO served on Ms Watters has resulted from repeated complaints from residents in Lammermuir Crescent, Dunbar who have been alarmed and disturbed by her behaviour. The council’s Safer Communities team worked closely with Police Scotland colleagues to respond to complaints and gather the evidence to present to court.”
