Office opening hours
Council HQ and all local offices are open between 9am and 5pm Monday to Thursday with a 4pm close on Fridays.
Every Wednesday morning, the local offices of Dunbar, North Berwick, Haddington, Musselburgh, Prestonpans and Tranent are closed from 9am - 10am for staff training.
Note: From Tuesday 1st February 2011 the North Berwick office will be closed on a Tuesday and Thursday each week. In addition, the office will be closed between 1pm and 2pm on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday each week. The changes to office opening hours will be for an initial period of 4 months after which time the hours of opening will be reviewed.
During the period of closure an enquiry and information service will be offered by Customer Services staff located within the North Berwick Library
Payments counters close 30 minutes earlier than general enquiry counters each day.
