More choices, more chances (MCMC)
East Lothian Council is fully committed to More Choices, More Chances. This is a national initiative that helps young people who are not in education, employment or training by providing additional support to help them to move into learning or employment. We are providing a wide range of opportunities for school leavers under the initiative.
East Lothian Learning Partnership (ELLP)
ELLP brings together learners and providers of learning opportunities in East Lothian through its website. It aims to widen awareness of the great diversity of learning opportunities and increase uptake.
Health promotion in schools is about promoting the physical, social, spiritual, mental and emotional wellbeing of all pupils and staff. We offer a wide range of health-promoting activities in nursery, primary and secondary schools, including our Active Schools scheme, Health Promoting Schools, and encouraging safe and healthy travel to school.
