There are six writing groups which regularly meet in East Lothian:

Dunbar: meets fortnightly on Thursdays from 7.30pm in Dunbar Library. The group is organised by Colin Will. Colin is a Dunbar resident who writes a wide range of poetry, fiction, essays and articles.

Haddington: meets fortnightly on Tuesdays from 7.30pm in Haddington Library.

North Berwick: North Berwick Poetry Group and North Berwick Writing Group - meets monthly at the Council Chambers

Anybody is welcome to come along to any of the meetings, and all the groups are free.

Tyne & Esk Writers is a working partnership which is supported by East Lothian Library Service and Midlothian Library Service.  All our writing groups are linked to Tyne & Esk Writers, who also run reading events.  Further details of the services they provide are available on their website.
