Bookbug Sessions
Come along to any one of our Bookbug Sessions. Free song, story and rhyme sessions for babies, toddlers, pre-school children and their families. Held in all East Lothian Libraries, they are an opportunity to have fun with your child and to meet other parents. Best of all babies love books and through songs, rhymes and stories at Bookbug Sessions they will be able to share these with you. (Previously known as Bookstart Rhymetime)

Bookbug's Library Challenge
You're never too young to become a library member so why not get your baby or child off to a great start and sign them up for Bookbug's Library Challenge.
It's free, it's fun and for children aged between birth and four. Visit your local library to join and pick up your Bookbug Collector's Card.
Get your Bookbug Card stamped each time you borrow books and then swap four stamps for a limited edition certificate.
There are five certificates to collect with the final one being a special congratulatory one.
We have a wide collection of exciting picture books that will give your child a fantastic incentive to take part in our Bookbug's Library Challenge.
Storytimes
Most of our branches hold regular storytime sessions throughout the year. These are fabulous opportunities for your child to hear old favourites and to be introduced to a whole new world of stories, and to share some of their favourite stories with us. Please ask at your local library for dates and times.
