Primary schools
Facilities Management Services manage out of hours bookings for East Lothian's 35 primary schools.
Around 1,000 individual applications are made every year ranging from one-off meetings to multi-lets for year-round use of premises.
The mix of groups using primary school premises varies widely:

head teachers - for school activities

parent councils - for organisational/business meetings, pupil social activites, fundraising activities etc

Education & Childrens Services - for teacher training courses etc

active schools - for running after school activites for pupils (including dance, exercise, cycling, athletics, netball)

Community Services - for adult educational and non-vocational classes

after school clubs - for running breakfast and after school care clubs

voluntary or commercial groups - for Girl Guides, Brownies, Rainbows, Scouts/Cubs, football teams, dance or drama classes, tae kwon do, karate, judo, language classes, pipe bands, country dancing, musical associations
