School running costs

The cost of running the school for the financial year is divided by the number of pupils. It includes staff costs, school resources, building costs including gas, electricity, water and rates and other costs including cleaning, catering, refuse collection and transport. It represents the operational costs only - all children and young people receive their statutory learning entitlement. COVID-19 has impacted the year on year comparisons for 19/20 and 20/21 due to additional staffing and funding received from Scottish Government. The opening of Letham Mains Primary School has increased the overall average at primary school level. Read more about school running costs.
