- Taxi and Private Hire (taxi drivers licence, vehicle licences, etc)
- Late hours catering (for any food business who wishes to sell food after 11pm)
- Market operators (christmas markets, farmers markets, etc)
- Other (including knife dealers, theatre, tattoo and piercing, metal dealers, venison dealers etc)
- Window cleaners and Second Hand Dealers have also recently been added to our licence type list. (Please contact the licensing office for the application form for Second Hand Dealers)

To hand deliver your application or if you require any information
Our public counter is at the payments desks in the John Muir House main reception entrance in Haddington. If you need to meet with a member of the licensing team, please arrange an appointment prior to your arrival.
Opening hours
- Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 9am to 4:30pm
- Wednesday 9am to 4:30pm
- Friday 9am to 3:30pm
