Roads and transport

It has been necessary to make the changes to the way we currently deliver some of our services due to the impacts of Coronavirus/COVID-19. We are grateful for your patience at this time.

Blue Badge applications

We're encouraging residents to apply online for a Blue Badge using the Government portal. If you're unable to apply online you can complete the application forms and return them to us by post: Transport Services, East Lothian Council, John Muir House, Haddington EH41 3HA.

Due to a high volume of applications there may be a delay in processing your application. In the meantime, Blue Badges due to expire have been extended until 31 December 2020. This means you can continue to use an expired Blue Badge in East Lothian between now and the end of the year. This extension may not apply to use of Blue Badges in other local authority areas.
