Polling Day Thursday 20 January - 5pm Deadline for issuing replacements for spoilt or lost postal votes (RO)

Polling Day Thursday 20 January - Deadline for emergency proxy applications (ERO)

Count Friday 21 January - The Count (the count for this by-election is carried out electronically).  Only specific categories of people are allowed to attend the count, i.e. candidates/agents/invited guests – it is NOT open to the general public.
