Who can make a nomination?
Anyone can make a nomination - customers, colleagues, councillors, managers, local groups or businesses.
Who is eligible?
Nominations can be for current individual or team employees of East Lothian Council or its partner organisations.
How are nominations made?
There are twelve award categories, but if you’re not sure which one applies to your nomination, don’t worry – we’ll put it into the correct category for you.
When can I make a nomination?
Nominations for the 2018 Awards can be made at any time up until 26 October 2018.
Who judges the nominations?
Nominations will be judged by a group comprising the Chief Executive and Provost, senior officials, and union representative.
What do the winners get?
Finalists will be invited to a special awards ceremony on 6 December 2018, where the winning teams and individuals will receive ‘STAR’ trophies and certificates. Awards for long service will also be presented at the same ceremony.
