Building Standards Customer Charter and Performance

The Building Standards Division of the Scottish Government has overall responsibility for the Building Standards system in Scotland. It manages Building Standards legislation and guidance documents, appoints verifiers and monitors the performance of the verifiers.

Our performance and customer care

As verifiers, our Building Standards team publish a National Customer Charter  and Annual Performance Report each year to inform our customers who we are, what we do and the level of service they can expect from us.
