Support for British Sign Language users and information on how we plan to further support and communicate with those using British Sign Language.
East Lothian Council's British Sign Language (BSL) Plan 2024-2030 outlines how we will improve communication and access to services for people who use BSL in East Lothian, and promote the use of and understanding of BSL across the county.
The plan has been developed following engagement with the BSL and deaf communities and organisations who work to support deaf people and their families. We welcome comment on the plan which has been published in BSL and English.
