Note - this application was called off the Scheme of Delegation List by Councillor McFarlane for the following reasons: Given the planning history involved and the significant number of local objections the application should be brought to a meeting of the Planning Committee for determination.
Note - this application was called off the Scheme of Delegation List by Councillor Findlay for the following reasons: For the Planning Committee to decide this application due to local concerns regarding over-development of the site, traffic management issues, and the loss of trees that have TPOs.
Note - this application was called off the Scheme of Delegation List by Councillor Allan for the following reasons: The wood is a local amenity and wind break which visually enhances the village and is also an important wildlife corridor linking green areas in Gullane and allowing a network of fauna to move freely and safely within the village. The wood also acts as part of a wider network that forms a corridor between two sites of Special Scientific Interest. There are also significant parking and road safety issues should this land ever be built on, especially if used for short term rental. This beautiful wood survived the winter storms, and is an area which should be preserved and not lost to development.
