A directory to help residents identify energy efficient opportunities based on whether you own, rent, or need social housing
The Energy Efficiency Standard for Social Housing (EESSH) was introduced to improve the energy performance of social rented homes and help to reduce energy use, fuel poverty and cut greenhouse gas emissions. This standard remains in place and must continue to be maintained.
East Lothian Council continues to invest in improvements such as upgraded heating systems and insulation to support tenants, reduce fuel poverty and prepare for new standards including the upcoming Social Housing Net Zero Standard.
If you are worried about your fuel bills, contact either the Council or your Housing Association to see what support is on offer.
